Price Drop Deadline

How to ask for a price adjustment

A short checklist built from what the stores' own pages ask for. Last verified October 17, 2026.

1. Have proof of your purchase

2. Bring proof of the lower price the way the store wants it

3. Use the channel the store names

4. Ask early

Windows are short (7 to 30 days among the stores we list) and some count from the day you receive the item. If a store's wording is unclear about whether the purchase day counts, ask a day early. Use the deadline calculator to get a reminder file for your calendar.

Sample wording (ours, edit freely)

Hi, I bought [item] on [date], order/receipt [number], for $[paid]. It's now $[new price] at [store site or location]. Under your published price adjustment policy, could you refund the difference to my original payment method? Here's the link and my receipt.

Policies change and the store decides every request. If it says no, you can ask what its policy offers instead (see if there is no policy). We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice.
